The building, erected in 1665, was built to commemorate an image of the Virgin,which, according to tradition, had miraculous qualities. The plastered façade is enriched by refined decorative bricks.The interior, has a Latin Cross and is charachterised by Double overlapping pilasters and a portal supporting the lintel decorated with triglyphs.
On the left side of the altar there is a painting of a “Saint adoring the crucifix” by Franz Ferdinand (1698).
